5 Proven Ways to Speed Up Your Hiring Process

Seeking out a new career can often feel daunting

We consulted our recruiting team to see how to simplify the hiring process. Preparation is key, so if you’re ready for a change, the steps below will help you get there faster!

Update Your Resume

There are ample resources out there to help build a resume, take the time to fully represent yourself on paper. This is a summary — not a novel — make a clean, bullet-pointed list of your career and educational experiences.

Be Responsive

If you happen to get noticed by a recruiter, don’t delay. The job market is fierce and any hesitation to respond can be the difference between you and another candidate getting hired. Check your email and voicemail regularly. Also, make sure you have your voicemail set up and with ample space for messaging.

Be Flexible

Let’s be honest, we’re all busy! Sometimes it’s hard to find the time to meet for an interview, but if you prioritize that interview it will not go unnoticed.

Be on Time

If you are given the opportunity to interview, be early. This shows the recruiter or hiring manager that you are not only interested but you also value their time.

Be Prompt

If you are offered a role, make sure you sign that offer letter and complete the paperwork as soon as possible. The sooner you complete your steps, the faster the company can get you started.
