March 13, 2023 — Stow, Ohio — We’re excited to introduce Richard (Rich) Alexander Jr. as our newest product manager. Alexander is a seasoned vegetation management professional who bears 20-plus years of industry experience.
In this role, Alexander will play a key role in managing Arborcision™, a management tool that uses collected data and proprietary methods to provide critical intelligence about utility vegetation management (UVM) programs with clear, accurate feedback that yields an extraordinary return on investment (ROI), and other innovative technologies.
In his more than two decades of service to the industry, Alexander has held several positions, including director of utility operations, distribution system forester, senior forester, interim supervisor of vegetation management, and more.
“Having worked closely with ACRT and many of its employees over the years through collaboration and industry committees, I knew their culture and core values were where I wanted to be. I’m excited to bring new products and service lines to our industry,” said Alexander.
Alexander holds both Arborist and Utility Specialist certifications from the International Society of Arboriculture and is a licensed commercial pesticide applicator in several states. His industry involvement reaches even further than the average arborist, as he serves as a facilitator for the Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) Professional Certificate program at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
“We are at the point that we needed an industry leader to manage new innovative service lines and enhance products like Arborcision. With years of collaboration and working together throughout the industry, Rich is the perfect match. We are glad he decided to join the ACRT Services family,” said ACRT Services Chief Operating Officer C. Troy Ross.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in forest resources and conservation from the University of Florida. He also holds a project management certificate from the University of Minnesota.
